Awarded 1st runner up “Most inspiring woman in the GCC” by Philly Arabia

We are honored to announce that Mina Liccione was awarded 1st runner up “Most inspiring woman in the GCC” for our Clowns Who Care Project in Philly Arabia’s “Spread some inspiration” campaign. On behalf of the entire team we would like to thank Philly Arabia and UN Women for creating such a wonderful platform as well as our volunteers, the judges and all who supported our humble project making it grow to help more and more. We would also like to congratulate all of the finalists and participants, you inspire us all! Let’s continue to spread joy, light & laughter!

The National News writes: Ms Liccione, the competition’s runner-up, said it felt selfish to win an award for helping others. ”They’re really the ones who help me,” she said, and urged other women to take up good deeds. “You don’t need a lot of money, it’s OK. You have talent and passion.”

Funny Girls head to Dubai Ladies Club!

This one’s for the ladies! Four UAE comedians will get their best jokes on at the Dubai Ladies Club at the end of the month. The show, called Funny Girls, will be in English and Arabic and feature Mai Assaf, Ellen Gayle Harewood, Shaima Al Sayed and  headlining the night is Dubai’s busiest female comedian Mina Liccione in a special only-for-women-by-women show on May 30. AUS Spring Dance Concert sells out!

The Spring Dance Concert was directed by Professor Mina Liccione and took place on May 8-9 at the American University of Sharjah. Both shows were a huge success and had the audience cheering!
